Montezuma publishes 150 lb per drawer across its full-size cabinets - the heaviest published slide rating of any brand on this site - plus a net weight, a maximum product weight and a 5-year warranty. The gap is consistent and odd: apart from the 46-inch cabinet's 20 gauge, no model in the range publishes a steel gauge at all.
Why a specialist is worth a page
Most of the names in this category are retailer house brands - Husky at Home Depot, Kobalt at Lowe's, U.S. General at Harbor Freight. Tool box brands maps that structure. Montezuma is one of the few exceptions: an independent maker that sells through its own site and through ordinary retail, which means you can compare its specifications against anyone else's and then actually order the thing.

For comparison, Husky's Heavy Duty line publishes 120 lb, Craftsman's S2000 publishes 100 lb, and WEN's 52-inch cabinet publishes 100 lb.
Published slide ratings are per pair at full extension, and the design guidance is to run at 70-80 percent of them. So a 150 lb Montezuma drawer is a 120 lb drawer in practice - which is still the rated figure of a Husky drawer before you derate that one. One gauge, one model
The 46-inch cabinet publishes 20 gauge. Nothing else in the range we checked publishes a gauge at all, and 20 gauge is not a brand-wide figure you can assume. It is also, for context, thinner than Husky's 19 and Milwaukee's 18 - so on the one model where Montezuma does print the number, the number is not the selling point. The drawers are.
Net weight and maximum product weight are two different numbers
Montezuma publishes both, and the pair is more useful than either alone. Net weight is the empty cabinet: 436.5 lb for the 72-inch, 158 lb for the 36-inch cart. Maximum product weight including contents is the ceiling: 3,300 lb and 600 lb respectively. Subtract one from the other and you have the load the maker actually expects the frame and casters to carry - about 2,860 lb on the big cabinet.
Almost nobody in this category gives you both halves. It matters at delivery, because 436 lb empty is a pallet and a ramp rather than a two-person lift, and it matters on a coated floor, where the empty weight is what sits on the casters while the box is being positioned.
