Husky publishes a single 19 gauge for its 56-inch set; Craftsman publishes an 18-20 gauge I-frame, which is a range and a more honest one. The bigger practical difference is depth: Craftsman's S2000 chests are 16 inches deep against Husky's 22, which decides whether a long tool lies flat.

The I-frame answer is the interesting one

Craftsman publishes 18-20 gauge steel I-frame construction rather than a single figure. That is a range, and a range looks worse than a number until you think about what it means: the frame is thicker than the panels, which is true of essentially every tool cabinet and stated by almost none of them.

Depth is the practical difference

If you want one purchase that solves storage, Husky's 56-inch set publishes more, holds more per drawer and is a complete answer - 24.8 cubic feet against 8.1, and 120 lb drawers against 100. If your constraint is depth or you already have a cabinet and need shallow drawers on top, Craftsman's 16-inch chest is a genuinely different product rather than a smaller version of the same one.
