Corrections, questions and press. We read everything that arrives, and a correction to a published number goes first.
Email info@studandstack.com, or use the form below. Corrections go to the top of the pile, because a site whose whole argument is "we show the arithmetic" has to be fixable when the arithmetic is wrong.
Corrections come first
If a number on this site is wrong, we want to know, and we will fix it in public rather than quietly. That is easier here than on most sites: every thickness, working load and volume conversion either has a named source or has its working printed next to it, so a disagreement can be about a specific step instead of about a conclusion.
The most useful correction names the page, the figure, and what you think it should be. If you have a manufacturer spec sheet that contradicts something here, send it - a published spec beats our arithmetic every time, and we will say so on the page. How corrections work.
What we cannot help with
- Warranty, returns or a damaged delivery. We do not sell anything and we have no relationship with any manufacturer or retailer. Your seller is the only route that works.
- A replacement key without the code. The code is stamped on the lock cylinder or the original key, and a locksmith needs it. Locks and keys explains how to find it.
- Whether a specific floor or wall will take the load. A loaded cabinet can pass 900 lb, and that is a question for somebody who can see the building. The arithmetic on the drawer capacity page will tell you the number; it will not tell you whether your slab is fine.
- Which box to buy for a garage we cannot see. The honest version of that answer is how to choose a tool chest plus a tape measure, and both are free.
Press, and everything else
Same address. We are a small independent publication funded by Amazon Associates commission, which is set out in full on the affiliate disclosure page. We do not accept free product, sponsored placements, or paid positions on any list, so a pitch offering any of those will get a polite no.
